Bromont, montagne d’expériences announced today an additional investment of nearly $11 million to enhance its Water Park offering. Caroline Proulx, Minister of Tourism, and Isabelle Charest, Minister responsible for Sport, Recreation and Outdoors and MNA for Brome-Missisquoi, were present for the occasion.
Thanks to $5 million in funding from the Quebec government’s Programme d’aide à la relance de l’industrie touristique (PARIT), the Water Park will be able to add new high-sensation water slides to its mountain site. A new basin will also be built for Lac à Tarzan, including two jumping platforms and the return of the famous “Tarzan rope”. The new slides will combine speed, sensations and guaranteed fun for adrenaline-seekers.
“The financial support of the Quebec government is essential to our project. It will not only enable us to enhance our Water Park with world-class infrastructures, but also to consolidate our positioning as a four-season destination,” says Charles Désourdy, President of Bromont, montagne d’expériences. These investments will improve the attractiveness of our site while enhancing the visitor experience.”
Work will begin in the fall of 2023, and is planned to meet the ski area’s operating schedule. The new activities are scheduled to be fully operational by summer 2025.
These new developments will be carried out as part of the Altitude Project, in which investments now stand at $122 million.
