Highly qualified
instructors!

Find out who our Level 3 and 4 ski school instructors are.

Stéphanie Perras Ski instructor at Bromont since 2009
Professional background:

Instructor for 21 years. Certifications: Level 4 CSIA, Level 1 ACA and level 2 CSIA course conductor. She also represented the Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance (CSIA) at Interski 2023 in Finland.

Establishing a two-way communication between her students and herself is a priority for Stéphanie. In order to achieve best results on snow, she likes to teach at slower speed and work on perfecting the basics. She has a very soft touch on the snow, which allows her to have great precision at higher speeds. Stephanie loves performance skiing!

Her favourite ski trail
"My favorite trail at Bromont when I’m instructing, is the ‘Knowlton’! Its different gradients allow me to teach a variety of techniques. When I’m skiing, I'd say the ‘Coupe du monde’. This trail is wide and long – the ideal terrain for skiing at top speed!”
Maxime Goulet Bourdon Ski instructor at Bromont since 2008
Professional background:

Certifications: Level 4 CSIA, Level 1 snow park instructor and certified coach for introduction to freestyle and racing.

Maxime enjoys taking his students out of their comfort zone. He encourages them to push beyond what they believe are their limits – showing them new turn shape, helping them explore a variety of ways to control their speed, introducing them to the snow park or riding moguls for the very first time! Maxime believes it’s always possible to learn something new.

His favourite ski trail
"My favorite trail is the ‘Sherbrooke’. It never fails to challenge and surprise me and that forces me to always be on my guard!”
Laurie St-Michel Ski instructor at Bromont since 2012
Professional background:

Certifications: Level 3 CSIA, Coach 1, Level 2 avalanche safety course and off-piste skiing enthusiast.

With her students, Laurie likes to create a collaborative climate during which they can exchange ideas and focus on tactical strategies rather than just technique. She is very passionate and has loads of energy which really comes across to her students. She loves to work on a variety of terrains.

Her favourite ski trail
"My favourite is the ‘Montreal’ because of its lovely long pitch and the moguls that have formed by the end of the season!"
Frédérik Lépine Ski instructor at Bromont since 1997
Professional background:

Certifications: CSIA Level 4 and ACA Level 2 Trainer, participated in Interski 2015 in Ushuaia, Argentina and 2019 in Pamporovo, Bulgaria, representing the Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance (CSIA). Frédérik is also a kinesiologist, accredited by the Féderation des kinesiologues du Québec (FKQ).

Frédérick comes from a family of avid skiers, and he loves to share insider tips with his students. He is a firm believer in each individual’s potential and takes every opportunity to spend time in the great outdoors. His motto is “Soyons meilleur ensemble” ("Let's be better together") and he has a talent for creating a collaborative team environment with his students. Frédérick is always delighted when they succeed in mastering new techniques or tactical approaches to the sport.

His favourite ski trail
"My favorite trail is definitely the ‘Waterloo’. I love skiing down this long, expert-level run with its challenging twists and turns.”
Eric Bisaillon Ski instructor at Bromont since 1990
Professional background:

Certifications: Level 4 CSIA, Level 2 CSCF, Technical Director at Bromont Ski School in 2004, Level 1 CSIA Trainer and Bromont Ski School Trainer of the Year in 2022-2023.

Éric’s focus is primarily on his client’s needs. He likes when things run smoothly! Interaction with students and exchanging ideas are at the heart of his teaching philosophy. He values successes in a positive mindset. Each lesson brings its own challenges and triumphs but what Éric likes best is teaching short-radius turns and moguls!

His favorite ski trail
"The ‘Waterloo’ for the gradient of the trail with its three abrupt changes in pitch, allowing for sharp turns on expert-level terrain.”
