We know it can be confusing to figure out how to use each lift with your bike. To make things easier, the Lift Team has taken the time to explain the role of their staff and what they do to assist you.
Everyone’s Roles
First, know that there are always at least 2 employees at the base of a lift: a lift attendant and an operator.
The lift attendant
He’s the first person you’ll see! He’s stationed before you board, he’s responsible for validating the RFID system and is always there to help with your bike.
The operator
The operator’s role is to manage the lift and oversee the loading of bikes and riders. They stay near the control console and remain alert in case of an emergency stop. If necessary, he can assist the lift attendant.
Multiple lifts, multiple vibes!
The working methods you will find below have been developed through the collaboration of employees, team leaders, coordinators, and the Lift Supervisor. Our teams have observed, analyzed, and tested various methods to find those that offer the most benefits and the fewest drawbacks for both the staff and the customers.
Express du Lac chairlift
Directe chairlift
Express du Lac
- Bottom: A lift attendant is always there to assist you with loading.
- Top: If your bike is on the hook, a lift attendant will unhook it for you. Another attendant will remove one of the bikes from the rack. So, you might need to unload your bike yourself once you reach the top.
Express du Village
- Bottom: Feel free to ask the on-site staff for help!
- Top: Our new unloading system stops the bike rack completely for 6 seconds so you can unload your bike yourself. It may seem short, but since it stops very close to your chair, you have enough time! Of course, the staff on site are always ready to help if needed.
La Directe and Côte-Ouest
- Bottom: A lift attendant is always present to help you hook your bike. Don’t hesitate to ask!
- Top: A lift attendant will unload your bike from the rack for you.
We hope this little guide helps you better understand the procedures for each lift at Bromont.
Happy riding!
