Bromont, montagne d’expériences welcomed the winter season’s first skiers and snowboarders on Friday, December 1. For this launch day, Bromont opened the ski season on the Versant du Village.
“We’ve been blessed by the weather in recent weeks!” mentions Marc-André Meunier, Sales & Marketing Manager. “We had more cold episodes in November than last year at the same time. We were able to make a lot of snow on enough terrain with our new fan snow guns, and open today to provide an optimal experience for skiers.”
To ensure ideal snow conditions, the mountain will be progressively opening its trails and slopes over the coming weeks. The Versant du Lac lift and the brand-new high-speed Versant des Épinettes lift will be in service for the holiday season.
A host of events
The mountain is also offering a host of special activities this winter, from outdoor music shows at the foot of the slopes, to special events and friendly competitions. “Once again this year, we’re focusing on our entertainment to offer our customers a unique experience. I’m thrilled that we’re showcasing Quebec artists and renowned singers such as Loud, Jonathan Roy and Émile Bilodeau,” says Mr. Meunier.

For the first weekend of the season, the mountain will exclusively welcome its season passholders, as well as APEX and L’EST GO cardholders. From Monday December 4, the resort will be open every day, for all skiers and snowboarders.
