Bromont, Wednesday, May 15, 2024 – The Daca Group and Bromont, montagne d’expériences (BME) are pleased to announce that following the adoption of the resolution at the municipal council meeting on April 2, 2024, construction work on the ALPINN hotel complex commenced this morning. This significant milestone comes as over 70% of the units have now been sold.
“We have been waiting for this moment for several months,” said Bertrand Leboeuf, president of the Daca Group. “This is a unique project in the region, and we were eager to begin construction. We can now start the work!”
Construction of the hotel begins as scheduled, at the end of the 2023-24 ski season. Located in the main parking lot of Versant du Village, this large-scale accommodation project includes 134 units.
To ensure its success, BME has partnered with two experienced hospitality entities: the Daca Group and URGO Hotels & Resorts.
“For me, the start of construction is the culmination of a project that the company has been working on for a long time,” says Charles Désourdy, President of BME. “Our vision is to be a mountain destination anchored in its environment. The hotel reinforces this vision, but it will also be an important element in the company’s long-term future. I can’t wait to see every step of the way!”
BME also believes that the addition of a ski-in/ski-out hotel will complement the current tourist accommodation offerings in the Eastern Townships. The project, which has generated significant interest among mountain visitors, will open under one of Marriott International’s extended-stay brands.
